Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-31
Purpose
These terms govern the use of the speedfibre.net website and its speed test. By using the site, you accept them.
Nature of results
Measurements are indicative. They depend on your device, your local network (Wi-Fi or cable), network load and distance to the measurement server. They have no contractual or official value and do not replace a measurement by your provider or an authorised body.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service in an automated or intensive way, try to overload it, bypass its protections or embed it on another site without written permission.
Data usage
A test transfers a real amount of data. On a mobile connection it counts against your plan. SpeedFibre cannot be held responsible for any overage.
Content and intellectual property
The site's texts, logo and design are protected. The measurement engines are open-source software (Cloudflare speedtest under MIT licence, LibreSpeed under LGPL). Provider and product names belong to their owners and are used descriptively.
Liability
Guides are written carefully but may contain inaccuracies or become outdated (plans, technologies). Before changing your equipment, also refer to your provider's instructions.
External links
The site may link to other sites whose content we do not control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the publisher's place of establishment, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Contact: contact@speedfibre.net.
