Data processed during a test

Cloudflare measurement engine

The speed test uses Cloudflare's open-source engine: during the measurement your browser exchanges data with Cloudflare servers, which therefore receive your IP address and collect measurement results to produce aggregated statistics on internet quality, under their own privacy policy.

Audience measurement (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate country, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address, which Google uses to determine an approximate location; we do not use it to identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Server logs

Like any host, our server may keep technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security purposes, for a limited time.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google ad settings and learn more about how Google uses data. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a certified consent message before any advertising cookie is set. Details in our cookie policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR in Europe, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA in California and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data and to object to its processing. Since we keep no test results on our server, there is usually nothing to retrieve. For any request: contact@speedfibre.net.
